My son was hospitalized @SHRC in August 2022 for PCL reconstruction surgery conducted by Dr Shashidhar V, Orthopaedic Surgeon. The services received at Shanti Hospital and Research Centre was excellent. From Insurance till Discharge, the process was pretty smooth. The Doctors, the aneasthist and the support staff....all of them were very friendly. The attender staff, nurses, ward boys everyone are the best.

My mother had undergone Knee surgery in SHRC. I must say that from inquiry --> consultation --> admission --> operation --> ICU --> in-ward stay & nursing till discharging from the hospital - all the services were extraordinary. They have a sufficient no of staff in every department, which makes life easier for the attendant too. Dr. Shashidhar is great for the patient in terms of communicating clearly while giving confidence to the patient and the same was reflected during/after surgery too. He takes care of patients like his own family member. Mr. Shiv Kumar from the admin team is a great guy. Feel free to talk to him for any kind of assistance required. He's very helpful. SHRC is a great hospital to rely on the surgeries.

I was admitted @ SHRC for a laproscopic surgery. The services received were excellent. Dr. Laxman and his team of doctors did a great job. They explained the procedure very clearly with all the pros & cons. The room was quite spacious, hygiene & well maintained. The insurance process was very smooth. Approval was taken prior to the hospitalization. Overall a good experience.

I was here for my knee operation, right from admission till discharge the services provided are 5 star. The Doctors, OT team, mainly nursing staff and other hygiene keepers are on their toes to take care of patients. During my stay here could not hear any buzzer sound from the inpatient. I wish the hospital should open a similar facility in all others areas too. Wishing the entire team to continue their services in the years to come. Rated 10+

My mother aged about 69 years had a sever knee pain for many years now, a quest to provide a solution to this knee pain, made us to visit Dr.HM Krishna Murthy (Fondly called as Dr. HMK, one of the consultants at SHRC). Prelim check up revealed that there is knee problem, possible replacement is needed, it was further confirmed by MRI scans that were performed based on the advise of Dr.HMK. He advised to contact Dr. Rupendu, one of the well-known ortho surgeons in Bangalore, who is also one of the consultants at SHRC. Based on the internal discussion between Dr. Rupendu and Dr. HMK, it was decided that Total Knee Replacement surgery needs to be performed to release pain for my mother. After fixing the date of the surgery as 20th and 23rd of July2022, we were informed that we will receive a call from SHRC. 4 days before the surgery, we received a call from SHRC admin and admission team (Asha Madam), explaining the process of admission, documents needed, date of admission (19Jul2022), pre-surgery preparation information and insurance details. 3 days into the surgery, received a call from accounts and insurance team, collected all documents online (there was no visit to hospital), they contact TPA and received pre-approval, in each step I was constantly informed of the progress and further steps. In the day if admission, the process was super smooth, which took about 10mins, we were taken to the alloted room (I am not using the word ward here for a specific reason). The room was like 3 or 4 star hotel room. It was crystal clean, well ventilated, well lit. Bathroom was designed to provided maximum safety and comfort to the patient. During our 6 days stay there at SHRC, the room must have been cleaned atleast 15. Every day after the cleaning, Quality Check team use to come and inspect the room and they use to collect the feedback from patients attendents. Previous night before surgery, both Dr. HMK and Dr. Rupendu visited my mother provided details of the surgery how she can prepare herself mentally. How they plan to take care of her during and after surgery. 20th and 23rd surgery days was mostly event free, where post surgery my mother was kept in Icu/recovery room for close to 4 hours for recovery and constant observation, after that she was transferred to allotted room. Post Surgery Pain and it management was clearly discussed with us so that we knew what we are getting at SHRC. My mother had mostly pain-free post surgery experience. The nursing and support team are doing excellent job, like Siddamma, Mary, Tulasi and Gangamma. The process of discharge was smooth. On 26th evening, my mom was able to walk all the way from her room to car with the help of a walker. All thanks to wonderful team of Doctors,Nurses, Support, Facilities for helping my mother. Now she is going through physio with Dr. Sunil. Soon she will have her new freedom.

With my first ever surgery , the services that I received from Shanti Hospital and Research Centre is excellent. Dr. Laxman has explained everything to me in a very clear manner. He has a great team of doctors. The staff are friendly and caring. Spacious and clean rooms with proper bed for attender. Highly recommended.
